Project Description
Nerang Bulk Transfer Pipeline
Nerang Bulk Transfer project involved excavation, pipe laying and backfilling of 2.5km of 960mm Sintakote pipe. The pipeline followed GCCC easement through private property, farmland, GCCC parklands and crossing Main Roads controlled roads. CC Pipe and Civil also constructed an above ground crossing over two creeks. Pipe laying process involved rubber ring joints as well as collar welded joints at bends, Air valve Tees and Scour Valve tees. Restoration of the alignment involved road repair, laying turf and seeding.
Helensvale Trunk Water Main Extension (Abigroup)
Helensvale Trunk Water project involved excavation, pipe laying and backfilling of 3km of 960mm Sintakote pipe. The pipeline followed GCCC easement through private property, GCCC parklands and loading of 2 bores under the Pacific Hwy Pipe. Laying process involved rubber ring joints as well as collar welded joints at bends, Air valve Tees and Scour Valve tees. Restoration of the alignment involved road repair, laying turf and seeding.
Helensvale Reservoir Connection and Pipe work (Abigroup)
Helensvale Reservoir project involved excavation, pipe laying and backfilling of 1km of 800mm Sintakote pipe. The pipeline involved a connection to an existing GCW main and the alignment followed the Helensvale trunk water main extension up the side of a hill to the existing reservoir the trench had to be hammed out by a 30t excavator and laid with trench bulk heads. Final connection was to the existing reservoir pipe work. Laying process involved rubber ring joints as well as collar welded joints at bends, Air valve Tees and Scour Valve tees. Restoration of the alignment involved road repair, laying turf and seeding.
